Camping
Ecocampsite Laouba is located between forest and meadow on the edge of the village of Vendays. With 30 spacious pitches of 150 to 200 m and varied planting, it is a peaceful oasis to return to after a wonderful day out.  We offer peace, space, nature, activities and fun at a reasonable price.

Facilities
In the bar, various drinks and crepes are offered with fresh and as many organic products as possible. In the area there is so much to do, see and discover that we limit the offer on the campsite to a swimming pool, sports field, playground and bar with terrace.

Sights
In Vendays you will find a supermarket and a few restaurants and in the lively seaside resort of Montalivet, which is 8 km away, there is a daily market and a wide range of shops and restaurants. Various cycle paths run through the forest and dune area to the small coastal towns so that you can do everything by bike if desired. Bicycles can possibly be rented at the campsite. All activities offered by the Vendays-Montalivet municipality on and around the beach are free of charge and everyone can participate. It is also possible to rent surfboards, sup-boards, bicycles and the like or to take lessons.

The largest freshwater lake in France, lac d’Hourtin, is 15 km to the south. This lake with various small beaches and marinas is just like the ocean at Montalivet a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Sailing boats, pedal boats, windsurf boards etc. are rented and kite surfing courses are given.

If you go 10 km to the east, you will arrive in the wine region of the Medoc. This famous region with the famous wineries is certainly worth a visit. You can follow the castle route along the estuary of la Gironde and the ensuing river of la Garonne upstream to Bordeaux, which is also recommended for lovers of old cities with a rich history.

The best route if you come by car from the north is via Saintes to Royan and there by ferry to Verdon. From Verdon you drive on the D1215 in the direction of Lesparre.
