The campsite
Camping Mas de Messier is situated very quietly and beautifully in nature on the southern border of the rugged Causse du Larzac and the Mediterranean. There are 28 large camping pitches on a domain of 9 hectares. Due to the playful division of the site, there is plenty of privacy for everyone. A large number of pitches have a beautiful view. The campsite is situated at an altitude of 680 metres, which makes the temperatures in summer very pleasant.
The accessibility is very good. Coming from the north, it is only about 10 minutes from the exit 49 on the A75 near Le Caylar, and from the south, less than 5 minutes from the exit 50 on the A75 near Saint Felix de L’Héras. The sanitary building is simple and very well maintained.

Facilities
The campsite has spacious pitches “in the middle of nature”. The natural vegetation provides a lot of privacy. The campsite has a swimming pool, cosy terrace, wifi internet, library, a trampoline and a table tennis table. Furthermore, there are chickens that sometimes scratch around on the campsite. The campsite shop offers fresh bread, ice cream and wine every day.
In the low season, depending on interest, it is regularly possible to join the table d’hôtes.
In the high season, we prepare culinary quiche menus, French Menu du Jour and delicious pizzas on a take-away basis. Eating out at your own place. How nice is that! All this with plenty of choice and fait maison with fresh ingredients. Approximately 5 times per week, the terrace is open between 17:00 and 19:00 for pleasant drinks.
We rent out 2 beautiful fully equipped lodge tents on beautiful spots and a gîte.

Surroundings
In the surprisingly beautiful and varied surroundings you will find a great diversity of flora, fauna and culture. There are many picturesque villages with cosy markets like the beautiful Pezenas, Saint Guilhem le Désert in the gorges de L’Hérault, La Couvertoirade, Clermont d’Hérault, Nant and Cantobre. If you like to visit a big city, you can go to Millau with its impressive bridge and roquefort caves, Montpellier, Aigues Mortes, Agde and Sète with museums, nice markets, shops and caves. The beautiful Lac du Salagou is at half an hour, the Mediterranean Sea with beautiful beaches at an hour. Culture lovers can visit the various Templar fortresses, Le cirque de Navacelle, Le Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux and various caves. There are excellent opportunities for (sporty / electric) cycling, mtb, walking and canoeing. If you prefer to make a car trip, there are good possibilities for this as well. For all activities, routes are available at the campsite.

Come Experience the Mas and enjoy the pure outdoor life.

You are most welcome.
